Lacy Lite Swiss Cheese
Lacy small eye formation. Softer and moister than traditional swiss cheese. Heidi Ann Lacy was one of the first National brands. Originated in USA in 1970’s when the first wave of “lower salt” items was promoted to reduce sodium in diet. Made as a swiss cheese curd. Spends less time in salt brine- where it picks up salt content from brine. Very lacey appearance with many small eyes 10 lb. loaf shape. Most sold sliced rather than chunk. Lower salt content on nutrient label.
